Should I Check This Out - Suits season 3 part 2

So I came down pretty hard on Suits as it become a longwinded procedural drama involving the dreaded Hessington Oil case. It was slow and really put the brakes down on the show as it took itself too seriously in the wrong direction.

Sceptically, I returned to the second half of season three and was surprised. It's certainly clear after the storm as the show packed plenty of entertainment with the right measure of charm, humour and drama, that actually worked!

Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams came out well with their continually great chemistry, and it was good to see the writers play around and push the show in new directions. With Mike realising his limited future regarding his career, it was a refreshing change of pace that actually grounded his character and presented a new angle to the show. There was also of-course, the season final drama that was expected but worked well again and introduced some new players to the game who I'm sure we'll see again.

Keeping this one short, season three part two of Suits was a pleasant surprise, and for anyone like me who fell off after the first half, part two exceeds in redeeming itself and neatly sets up season four.
